What I’ve Got: Titles

Although this article is not itself a viral blog post, I wanted to share it because it raises some interesting questions about the patterns that arise in the titles websites use to try to grab our attention. Some recent trends include lists, using the second person, starting with “Here is” or “This is”, using superlatives (“Here Are The 10 Best Photobombs You’ll See All Week”), or pleading (“Take A Minute To Watch The New Way We Make Headlines Now”)
