What I’ve Got: Qlocktwo World Clock

Simple, sleek, and monochrome, the Qlocktwo embodies what the general vision for the future seems to vie for. With the flat design, however, comes, like many other futuristic products, a lack of skill or effort on the part of the user. Instead of working to read an analog clock, the Qlocktwo simply tells you, in words, what time it is. After seeing these products and working to create the Wolverink, I can’t help but wonder why these simple designs are so desirable: are we really attracted to the idea that less is more, or are we simply looking for what’s less because we are tired of working for what’s more?
