What I’ve Got: Interactions

Based on how everyone answered the “What do you want to do with your life?” question during our guest lecture last week, I’d venture that if you aren’t reading Interactions, you probably should be. Published by the ACM’s Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction, Interactions publishes articles on design in technology by some of the leading thinkers in tech+design (including authors we’ve talked about for this class, ie Donald Norman.)

This month’s cover story is particularly relevant to ES22: Teaching and Learning Human Computer Interaction. The article reviews the status of teaching methods for courses on HCI. It includes a discussion of how to incorporate non technical design classes, like this one, and how to balance theory and practice (also like this class!)
