What is it?

Why do you think it’s desirable? Do your best to explain what you think works or not about it psychologically or emotionally for the user.

First of all, I like the design of the package.  The simplicity of the package design and the characteristics of each product is to typical that people can hardly mix them.  For the products themselves, Glossier focused on several product types and make many options for them instead of trying to include all the products.  This makes their products really focused and outstanding.

How your review compares to the previous reviewer

The previous reviewer focused more the ideas of this brand and his/her personal experience related to this product, while I focused more on the design of the package and the products in detail.

Previous reviewer response

Glossier is a new makeup and skincare line. I bought my first products from them a few weeks ago, and I think it’s a rare example of a brand in this space where the quality is well-represented by the chicness of the packaging and design. The line is well-priced, and they make it easy to switch to a subscription model if one of their products becomes a daily essential. I love their general aesthetic and the message behind it. Here, as they see it, is their goal: “we’re not here to sell you 200 pieces of every kind of makeup in every color imaginable. We just want to give you the best makeup – makeup you’ll actually use every day.” I love the simplicity of that goal, and I’m very excited to try out more products from them.
