Self-Quarantine Safety Protection

At the beginning of March, when South Korea was the largest coronavirus outbreak centre outside of China, its government launched an attempt to keep things from escalating further: a smartphone app that monitored citizens on lockdown. Officials said it was intended to help manage the increasing case load and prevent cases of “super spreaders,” who have been blamed for significant numbers of infections. While it could be interpreted as an extreme solution, perhaps an invasion of privacy, the countries commendable response to facing and recovering from the outbreak can be attributed to this seemingly problematic, yet successful solutions like these!
