The Washington Post’s “Voices from the Pandemic”

Eli Saslow’s series captures and immortalizes personal stories from an ER nurse, a coroner, a community shop owner, and others navigating the current pandemic from very different spheres of life. Relayed in the voices of each person, this series is an intimate look into the effects of COVID-19, and a reminder that the pandemic’s impact is deeper than just numbers. Similar to human-centered design methodology, reading through these experiences can illuminate smaller scale ways to address the felt devastation of COVID-19.
